Child Wellness Lab

The Child Wellness Lab is a pediatric research lab based at the Stanford School of Medicine. Our research is aimed at understanding and preventing unnecessary childhood stress and pain by developing and implementing non-invasive testing methods.

Are you interested in participating in a study to improve childhood wellness?

If you have a child aged 9-72 months (under 6 years old) and live in Alameda, San Mateo, or Santa Clara county, please complete the parent interest form.

What do I have to do to participate?

The study takes approximately 2 hours total of your time, broken up into two short Zoom calls (10-15 minutes each) and an online questionnaire (60-90 minutes) which can be completed at your own pace. Here is a quick breakdown of what the study entails:

Call 1 (5-20 minutes depending on eligibility over Zoom) - Screening to confirm eligibility for the study and if eligible, review and sign consent form.
Receive study kit in the mail
Call 2 (15-20 minutes over Zoom) - Collecting hair sample with guidance from research coordinators
Online Questionnaire (60-90 minutes at your own pace)
